A current SHEA Gas registration is required before attending. The course fee includes the training session, end-of-day assessment, and EUSR registration upon successful completion.

Module 1 Learning Objectives & Topics Covered

A major part of the course focuses on clarifying roles and responsibilities, particularly the difference between Authorising
Engineers and Competent Persons.
We also examine what happens when things don’t go according to plan. We walk you through deviation and emergency procedures so you know how to act safely and correctly under pressure.
Record keeping, monitoring, and audits are also covered because following the process is only part of it; proving that you’ve followed it is just as important. We also make sure you understand the ongoing requirements for maintaining your EUSR registration.
Assessment & Certification
At the end of the session, you’ll take a multiple-choice assessment to test your knowledge of what we’ve covered. Don’t worry, it’s designed to be fair and straightforward if you’ve engaged with the course.
Once you pass, you’ll be registered on the EUSR database for Module 1, which is valid for five years.
Remember, if your role requires full SCO accreditation, you’ll need to complete other modules, including Permit to Work (PtW),
Forms of Authority (FoA), Routine Operations (RO), and Non-Routine Operations (NRO). We can help you plan that progression.
